WOMEN'S SPRING 2009 BIBLE STUDIES

New Spring Classes
Women’s Ministry is excited to offer Spring classes. Our desire is to help women increase their knowledge of the Bible, be challenged through the teaching of the Holy Spirit, deepen their faith in Jesus Christ as their Savior, and understand the love and characteristics of God the Father – all of this combined with opportunity to connect with women of all different ages. What more could you want?

Wednesdays - $20 for first child, $10 for each additional child ($40 max per family per semester).
Childcare payments are due the first day of class, submitted to your Bible Study Leader.

This study by Max Lucado will help you gain a new perspective and approach in tackling relationships with difficult people. Lessons deal with: seeing people the way God sees them, dealing with relatives and keeping peace in the family of God.

Having a hard time knowing what God is saying versus what others are saying? This Bible study from author and speaker Priscilla Shirer is designed to help participants know the voice of God: His language, character, and tone of voice. By growing closer to God through His Word, participants will be able to discern God's voice from the voice of strangers.

UNDERSTANDING THE ANGER OF GOD - MICAH, NAHUM, HABAKKUK, led by Trish Kirsch
January 20 - March 10 (8 weeks)
These were the last prophets to the Southern Kingdom of Judah before Judah was taken captive to Babylon. Each prophet cried out to a nation which needed to heed the Word of the Lord about judgment. Any nation, Assyria or Judah, which chose to worship idols rather than God, would be judged by God unless they turned to Him in repentance, but God would warn them first. These three prophets will teach you how God deals with those who turn away from Him and how He gives a warning to turn to Him rather than perish.
